Thoughtful, structured yoga guidance in the living Indian tradition — led by Yogi Gajendra, Masters in Yoga with 25+ years of practice, together with a small circle of dedicated TradiYog teachers. Not classes to keep up with: a practice built around your body, your routine, and your pace.
Yoga should adapt to people — not the other way around
Every body is different. Every routine is different. Every starting point is different. So at TradiYog, nothing begins with a syllabus — everything begins with you: your body as it is today, your days as they actually run, your pace as it truly is.
Founder & Lead Mentor
Yogi Gajendra
Namaste. I’m glad you’re here.
Yoga wasn’t something I discovered — it’s the life I was schooled in. From a young age, daily yoga wasn’t a class for me; it was simply the day itself — rising before dawn, practising, and slowly making the discipline my own. I later completed my graduation and a Master’s degree in Yoga, studying the tradition as deeply as I live it.
For the last 8+ years I’ve guided working professionals, parents, complete beginners, and students with demanding situations — always gently, within each person’s medical guidance. My approach is simple: traditional practice, plainly taught; every body met exactly where it is; and honest guidance always — I won’t promise to transform you in thirty days, but I will know your name, your body, and your progress.
Today, TradiYog is more than one mat. A small circle of teachers — trained in the same tradition and the same personal, unhurried way of teaching, including experienced female teachers — practises alongside me, so every student can learn with the teacher they’re most comfortable with.

TradiYog is led by Yogi Gajendra — and carried by a small team of teachers trained in the same tradition and the same personal way of teaching. Comfort is part of good practice, so you always learn with the teacher who suits you.
Matched, not assigned
In your introductory session we listen to your body, routine, and comfort — then suggest the teacher who fits you best.
Female teachers available
If you’d feel more at ease learning from a female teacher, simply say so when you message — it’s a completely normal request, and it’s provided for.
The same standard, always
Every TradiYog teacher teaches the same way: traditional practice, plainly taught, adapted to each student — under Yogi Gajendra’s personal guidance.
One consistent teacher
No rotating instructors. Once matched, you practise with the same teacher — someone who knows your name, your body, and your progress.

I’m a complete beginner and not flexible at all. Can I join?
Yes — you’re the student I most often meet. Flexibility isn’t a requirement for yoga; it’s one of its slow, natural results. Your practice begins exactly where your body is today — with a chair or a wall if that’s what today needs.
What happens in the introductory session?
We talk — that’s all. You message on WhatsApp, we fix a time, and then spend 20 to 30 minutes on your body, routine, and goals over a call. No postures, no equipment, no obligation to continue, and no sales pitch at the end.
Is the introductory session really complimentary?
Yes, completely — and it stays that way. It exists so we can understand your goals and recommend the right path honestly, including telling you if TradiYog isn’t the right fit.
How is this different from YouTube videos or yoga apps?
A recording can’t see you. In live sessions your teacher watches your alignment, corrects in the moment, and adjusts your plan week by week. The difference isn’t content — it’s attention.
Should I choose private guidance or a small group?
Private guidance suits those who want practice built entirely around their body and schedule. Small groups suit those who enjoy quiet company and a shared rhythm, at a gentler investment. If you’re unsure, don’t decide now — that’s exactly what the introductory session is for.
How small are the small groups?
Deliberately small — a handful of students, so your teacher can watch and correct each person by name. If a group ever stops feeling personal, it has become too big — and we don’t let that happen.
Can I request a female teacher?
Yes. TradiYog’s team includes experienced female teachers, and comfort is part of good practice. Simply mention it when you message — your sessions will be arranged accordingly, without any awkwardness.
I’m outside India. Will timings work for me?
Yes. We teach students across India, North America, England, Australia, and Africa, and keep both morning and evening windows to cover timezones. Tell us your city when you message and we’ll find a slot that fits your day.
Which language are sessions in?
Sessions are available in English and Hindi — whichever you’re most comfortable in.
What do I need to begin?
A quiet corner, a mat or a folded blanket, comfortable clothes, and a phone or laptop with a stable connection. Everything else — the sequence, the pace, the corrections — is your teacher’s job.
I have a health condition or old injury. Can I still practise?
Often yes, gently and carefully — but please speak with your doctor first, and tell us everything in the introductory session so your practice is adapted safely. TradiYog is wellness guidance, not medical care, and we’ll never ask you to work against medical advice.
How does pricing work?
The introductory session is complimentary, always. Programs are priced simply — a fixed fee for the 4-week program, monthly for small groups, and with your plan for private guidance — and every number is shared openly in your introductory session, with no pressure to decide on the call.
One unhurried session, entirely about you. If TradiYog is a fit, you’ll feel it. If it isn’t, you’ll leave with honest guidance either way — and that’s a good outcome too.
